White Russian – Tribe Collective.
Inside the spiffy black jar with the clean white label is a goopy pile of White Russian Live Sugar by Tribe Collective.
Its saucy, gooey, sticky, diamonds in sauce type stuff. There are firmer-ish lumps floating around in the yellow stew of goodness.
The Weed In Review Team notes that we are filing this under White Russian, however the label goes into more detail. It says this is White Russian (Durban x Wed. Cake) Live Sugar (CRC).
So – thats alot to talk about right there. Durban – not Durban Poison. Are they the same strain? We don’t think so. Maybe. Who knows. Durban Poison is a legendary strain that has been around since the aliens brought weed to earth.
Wedding Cake is of course a newer variety, especially when compared to a south african landrace thats been around since the beginning of time..
Technology good? Or bad –
CRC – color remediation column – is a material refining step and (can be) part of the extraction process. Of which we generally are averse to in large terms.
The Weed In Review Team doesnt much like anything god and mother nature didnt put here, or that aliens didnt bring to us. Especially hacked up tampered with synthetic shit from some lab. They can run the oil, post-extraction but pre-collection, thru a filter of various media to further purify and refine the extract. Thats good. Or you could say they can take some bunk dark old smelly shit and make it nice. Thats bad.
The Review
When the Review Team cracked open the jar we were blasted with an almost vicks-y, eucalyptus-y chemical-y smell mixed in with flower, meadow, fresh grass spring smells.
The taste of the smoke was interesting – it was fresh, chem tasting, and overall good. The Tribe Collective White Russian produced a strong, eye watering toke with a good head change. Overall it is a nice high and had me baked at 350* for a couple of hours.
The second round of testing observation much followed the first – smells like an outdoor christmas tree farm + nice chem. This time we noted maybe some hidden citrus tastes, but it could have been something off the dabber honestly, because I dont really find it again in further dab sessions.
What I did find is a fresh stony high again 🙂 faded out and daydreaming with no focus. Maybe creeperish. My final notes were ‘I recommend this – is nice’.
